Looking for a High Protein recipe for your protein shake and protein smoothie?
Unflavored Protein Powder by Fast Protein is an excellent choice. It is also the best protein powder for weight loss, is Keto Friendly, and to add to protein powder smoothies such as below. Unflavored is tasteless protein powder, so add your own flavoring and sweetener.
1 tablespoon almond butter (if no one’s looking I use extra...😬). For protein powder recipe see our almond butter chocolate cup recipe).
1 large cup (6 ounces) unsweetened almond milk, or ultra-filtered lactose-free milk, or coconut water (also has electrolytes) or simply add filtered water
1 tablespoon of 100% cocoa powder (no sugar added) and a handful of fresh mint (if desired). If you're a vanilla person, instead of cocoa powder, you may add a few drops of vanilla extract
Small handful of ice (optional)
Small handful of blueberries or mixed berries (frozen or fresh) 🤷🏻♀️
Small amount of sprouted wheat or any sprouted grains and/or
Sweetener of choice (but definitely no sugar). We recommend stevia, monk fruit, a little honey or one date (or powder date)
Mix all ingredients together in a blender and enjoy. You may consume up to three scoops daily (single serving size - 1 scoop is approx. 2 tablespoons)
